Virax Biolabs Signs Multi-Country Commercial Supply Agreement with Fosun Diagnostics
Virax Biolabs Group Limited has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Virax Biolabs (UK) Limited, has entered into an exclusive multi-country commercial supply agreement with Fosun Diagnostics for the Company's ImmuneSelect research-use immune profiling product line. This agreement includes six Southeast Asian markets: Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Malaysia. It establishes a framework for immediate product supply under purchase orders, which supports near-term revenue opportunities and regional commercial expansion.
ImmuneSelect is Virax's commercially available research-use-only immune profiling product line, separate from the in-development diagnostic platform, ViraxImmune™, which is currently undergoing clinical and regulatory development.
The company views this agreement as a significant commercial milestone for its ImmuneSelect platform, offering access to numerous Southeast Asian markets through a leading regional diagnostics organization. The framework aims to facilitate phased commercial expansion, including additional product offerings, higher-volume supply arrangements, and potential original equipment manufacturer (OEM) or private-label opportunities.
Fosun Diagnostics is part of Fosun Medtech, a division of Fosun Pharma, an innovation-driven global pharmaceutical and healthcare group. Fosun Pharma reported a revenue of RMB41.662 billion, approximately US$5.8 billion in 2025. Virax believes that partnering with Fosun Diagnostics enhances its ability to evaluate and expand the reach of ImmuneSelect in the ASEAN region.
James Foster, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Virax Biolabs, stated that the agreement marks a major advancement in the commercial rollout of the ImmuneSelect platform in Southeast Asia, establishing a structured framework for immediate commercial activity and scalable regional expansion. Leon Zhang, International Commercial Head for China Domestic Business at Fosun MedTech, expressed enthusiasm about collaborating with Virax Biolabs to evaluate ELISpot-based research applications across the region.
