MY DR NOW Opens Fort Worth Clinic as Demand Grows for Accessible, Same-Day Healthcare in Texas
MY DR NOW is set to open its second clinic in Texas, located in Fort Worth, on Monday, July 13. The new facility aims to provide walk-in and same-day primary care services to families in a rapidly growing area of North Texas.
The clinic is situated at 137 E. Bonds Ranch Road, Fort Worth, TX 76131, on the northeast corner of Highway 287 and Bonds Ranch Road, positioned between Starbucks and Whataburger within the Bonds Ranch Marketplace anchored by Kroger Marketplace. It will operate Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on weekends from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Patients can either walk in, schedule appointments in advance, or request same-day in-person or virtual consultations, including house calls.
The Fort Worth clinic will serve patients of all ages, offering a full range of family medical services. These services include same-day sick visits, school and sports physicals, annual checkups, pediatric care, women's health, immunizations, and management of long-term chronic conditions. The clinic accepts most major insurance plans and welcomes new patients. Those without insurance can join the MY DR NOW membership plan for $39 a month, with a co-pay of $10 per visit.
The expansion comes amid significant population growth in Fort Worth, which added nearly 20,000 residents in the past year, marking it as the second-largest numeric gain of any U.S. city. Currently, the city is ranked as the 10th-largest in the country. Additionally, Tarrant County's uninsured rate increased to 17% in 2024, up from 15% the previous year. Texas continues to lead in the number of residents without health coverage, and the Health Resources and Services Administration reports over 441 primary care Health Professional Shortage Area designations affecting more than eight million people statewide.
"Too many families end up at urgent care or the emergency department for things a family doctor should be handling," said Dr. Payam Zamani, founder and CEO of MY DR NOW. He emphasized the importance of accessible primary care for families in Fort Worth, noting the difficulties patients face when typical doctor appointments are weeks away and offices are closed on weekends.
The MY DR NOW model aims to streamline care by providing a single medical home for families, allowing diverse health concerns—from a child's ear infection to a grandparent's follow-up on blood pressure—to be addressed at one location during convenient hours, whether by appointment or walk-in.
