Corgi Insurance has appointed Robert E. "Rob" Barlow Jr. as a key figure to aid in the company's expansion in the community association, condominium, homeowners association, and broader property and casualty insurance markets.

Barlow brings over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, focusing on specialty commercial insurance programs for community associations. His expertise includes condominium, homeowners association, resort, active adult, and high-rise insurance, aligning with Corgi's goal of modernizing insurance infrastructure and enhancing coverage solutions for businesses.

Nico Laqua, co-founder and CEO of Corgi, remarked on Barlow's significance, stating, "Rob's track record in both community association insurance and broader brokerage operations makes him an important voice as we continue building insurance products for complex, underserved segments of the market." Previously, Barlow held a leadership position at RealManage Insurance Services, where he established the insurance division, achieving $20 million in bound premium through strategic sales and broker partnerships. His past roles include senior leadership positions at Acrisure, NFP Property & Casualty, Brown & Brown Insurance, and Wachovia Insurance (now Wells Fargo), where he managed operations with revenues ranging from $1.5 million to $30 million.

Barlow's career highlights include developing a book of business generating $20 million in annual insurance premiums and improving efficiency through operational integration. He emphasized the importance of quality coverage, carrier relationships, and execution in the specialized community association insurance market, stating, "I'm excited to support Corgi as it applies technology, underwriting intelligence, and modern infrastructure to create better insurance experiences."
