Return of an Icon: Jeep® Brand Unveils the 2027 Wrangler Laredo

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. — The 2027 Jeep® Wrangler Laredo marks the ninth installment in the Jeep brand's Twelve 4 Twelve Wrangler series, reviving a notable nameplate from Jeep's history. The Wrangler Laredo draws inspiration from the American Southwest, imbuing it with a distinct character through its use of heritage colors, bold graphics, and bronze accents, along with the return of a tan soft-top.

The vehicle remains faithful to the design of its Easter Jeep Safari concept, appealing to the Jeep community's enthusiasm. The Wrangler Laredo features premium Bison Brown Nappa leather seats, Mayan Gold accents, and other exclusive details that contribute to a uniquely crafted interior.

Built on the Wrangler Willys foundation, the Laredo includes standard features such as the Xtreme 35 Package, which consists of 35-inch tires and a 1-inch lift. It is available in both two-door and four-door configurations, highlighting the blend of traditional heritage and modern capability.

Bob Broderdorf, the CEO of the Jeep brand, noted the significance of the Laredo name in the brand's evolution, stating, "The Laredo name represents a pivotal moment in the Jeep brand's evolution, and bringing it back was an opportunity to build on that legacy." The model aims to maintain the balance of distinctive design and trail-rated capability that Jeep customers expect.

The interior design of the Wrangler Laredo emphasizes earth tones and premium materials, creating a cohesive environment. Notable features include Bison Brown Nappa leather seats, Mayan Gold accent stitching, and exclusive Laredo badging that connects the vehicle to its namesake city, Laredo, Texas. Orders for the 2027 Jeep Wrangler Laredo are set to open later this month, starting at $1,995 above a Wrangler Willys with the Xtreme 35 Tire Package.
