NOL Universe Partners with Japan's APPLE WORLD to Expand Global Accommodation Distribution
NOL Universe, a leading travel, leisure, and culture platform company in Korea, has announced a strategic partnership with APPLE WORLD Inc., a prominent accommodation distribution company in Japan. This collaboration aims to enhance the global accommodation distribution network and marks NOL Universe's first such partnership with a Japanese firm. The agreement represents a significant step in expanding its international travel partner ecosystem.
The partnership will make approximately 30,000 verified accommodation properties available through APPLE WORLD’s distribution network, which serves Japanese travel agencies and global B2B partners. This initiative expands international access to Korean accommodations and creates new sales channels for Korean accommodation partners. APPLE WORLD operates a leading B2B accommodation distribution platform in Japan, covering more than 400,000 properties across over 200 countries.
Integration of the companies' systems is expected to be completed during the third quarter of 2026, facilitating reciprocal connectivity between Korean and Japanese accommodation inventories. This partnership is part of NOL Universe's broader B2B distribution strategy to enhance its international distribution network. The collaboration aims to connect regional distribution partners with travel content, strengthening industry ties beyond mere inventory integration.
Oliver Libutzki, Head of Global Business Group at NOL Universe, commented on the partnership, stating that global interest in travel to Korea continues to rise. He emphasized the importance of connecting travelers with Korean travel content through the company's extensive accommodation inventory and travel platform capabilities. Libutzki expressed the company's commitment to expanding partnerships with regional leaders to enrich travel experiences and foster a sustainable global travel ecosystem.
Takeshi Fukada, Director of APPLE WORLD Inc., expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting the company's track record of providing hotel inventory from over 400,000 properties worldwide. Fukada noted that the alliance would integrate hotels from Korea's growing travel market into their offerings, enhancing options for travel agencies and contributing to the growth of travel markets in both Japan and Korea.
