MIND Education's ST Math Wins 2026 EdTech Breakthrough 'Math Learning Solution of the Year' Award

MIND Education has announced that its Pre-K–8 supplemental program, ST Math, has been named the "Math Learning Solution of the Year" in the 2026 EdTech Breakthrough Awards. This recognition comes from over 3,000 nominations and underscores the program's measurable impact on mathematics instruction.

ST Math utilizes visual problem-solving and interactive puzzles rather than language-heavy instruction, facilitating a deep conceptual understanding of mathematical concepts. The program is designed to support diverse classroom needs, including multilingual, special education, and advanced learners, by eliminating language barriers.

The program's learning design is based on three key principles: Spatial-Temporal Reasoning, Informative Feedback, and Symbolic Transition. ST Math helps students visualize and manipulate mathematical relationships, offers immediate visual feedback on their choices, and connects visual models to mathematical language as they progress.

Research and independent evaluations indicate that ST Math significantly accelerates academic achievement. Implementation typically leads to doubled or tripled math proficiency growth compared to non-user schools, with consistent usage yielding a statistically significant 14 percentile point advantage in statewide math rankings.
