e& finalise la vente de sa participation dans Vodafone, générant un produit de 5,95 milliards USD
Abou Dabi, Émirats arabes unis - Emirates Telecommunications Group Company PJSC (e&) has announced the successful transfer of its 3,944,743,685 ordinary shares in Vodafone Group PLC (Vodafone) to BNPP Financial Markets, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, and Société Générale. This follows the signing of a binding agreement with Vega, a wholly-owned acquisition structure of the Niel family group, on July 10, 2026, regarding the sale of e&’s entire stake in Vodafone.
The transaction has yielded gross cash proceeds of 21.5 billion AED (approximately 5.84 billion USD), equating to about 110.5 GBX per share. An additional dividend balance of 2.02 GBX per share, totaling approximately 0.4 billion AED (0.11 billion USD), corresponding to the final dividend for the fiscal year 2026, will be distributed on July 30, 2026. This will bring the total value of the transaction to 21.9 billion AED (5.95 billion USD), generating a net cash flow of 4.8 billion AED (1.3 billion USD).
This sale aligns with e&'s evolving strategic priorities, allowing the group to refocus its strategy on core activities while maximizing the potential of its investments.
