SpecialtyRx Opens New Regional Pharmacy in Roanoke, Virginia, Expanding Long-Term Care Services Across the Mid-Atlantic
SpecialtyRx has announced the opening of its newest regional pharmacy in Roanoke, Virginia, expanding its specialized pharmacy services for long-term care providers in Virginia and West Virginia. This new location also positions the company to broaden its services into North Carolina, Tennessee, and Kentucky.
The approximately 11,000-square-foot pharmacy marks SpecialtyRx's 15th regional facility and demonstrates the company's ongoing investment in enhancing access to quality pharmacy services across the United States. The Roanoke facility is designed to support healthcare providers throughout Virginia and neighboring states by providing faster, more localized pharmacy services.
Initially serving around 1,500 patients, the Roanoke pharmacy is projected to expand its reach to over 10,000 patients. It offers a range of long-term care pharmacy services, including 24/7 pharmacist support, emergency medication delivery, same-day IV services, and advanced technology that offers facility partners improved visibility into prescription status and secure communication with pharmacy teams.
