P&G ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH FOUR-TIME WNBA ALL-STAR KELSEY MITCHELL
Cincinnati native Kelsey Mitchell, a guard for the Indiana Fever and a four-time WNBA All-Star, is set to debut a partnership with Procter & Gamble (P&G) during the AT&T WNBA All-Star 2026 event in Chicago, scheduled from July 23-25. This collaboration marks P&G's first engagement with a professional athlete to serve as a corporate ambassador across its global brands.
Mitchell will play a significant role in activating P&G’s WNBA partnership for fans, including making a special appearance at the P&G Sports Lab experience at WNBA Live presented by AWS. She enters the All-Star weekend after a successful season, having surpassed 5,000 career WNBA points on June 4, 2026. This achievement made her only the second player in Indiana Fever history to reach that milestone, and she earned her first All-Star starter selection for the 2026 game.
The partnership builds on P&G’s multi-year relationship with the WNBA, established in April, aimed at enhancing brand engagement with women's basketball as it continues to expand. During the announcement event in Cincinnati, Mitchell participated in activities with P&G employees, including autograph signing and photo opportunities.
At WNBA Live, P&G will invite fans to experience the P&G Sports Lab, showcasing product innovations that benefit both athletes and fans. Attendees will have the chance to connect with P&G brands such as Downy, Gillette Venus, Olay, Secret, Tampax, and Tide, as well as receive product samples while supplies last. Mitchell is also expected to make a special appearance at the event.
P&G will continue its collaboration with Mitchell and the Kelz Hoop Foundation in Cincinnati after the WNBA season. Founded by Mitchell in 2020, the foundation supports student-athletes through youth basketball camps, annual toy drives, and other community initiatives. Further details about this partnership are expected to be announced later this year.
