Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute Welcomes Medical Oncologist and Hematologist Mina Aleksan, MD

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute has welcomed medical oncologist and hematologist Mina Aleksan, MD, to its Trinity Cancer Center, located at 9320 State Road 54, Trinity, FL 34655. Dr. Aleksan will provide comprehensive oncology and hematology care to patients in Pasco County.

Dr. Aleksan specializes in personalized care, with a focus on solid tumors, blood cancers, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies. David Wenk, MD, FCS assistant managing physician, noted that Dr. Aleksan's patient-centered approach and knowledge of the latest advancements in cancer care align with FCS's commitment to compassionate, high-quality treatment.

With clinical interests in solid tumors, hematologic malignancies, immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and supportive cancer care, Dr. Aleksan is motivated by the opportunity to form lasting patient relationships. He expressed that the rapid advancements in cancer treatment allow him to offer increasingly personalized and effective therapies.

Dr. Aleksan earned his medical degree from Assiut University School of Medicine in Assiut, Egypt, and completed a residency in internal medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York. He also completed a fellowship in oncology and hematology at Wellstar MCG Health System in Augusta, Georgia. He provides care in both English and Arabic.
