PureHealth Reports Net Profit of USD 337 Million in H1 2026
Group revenue for PureHealth Holding PJSC increased by 9% year-on-year, reaching USD 4.0 billion, driven by contributions from international operations and robust performance within its insurance segment. International operations accounted for 33% of the Group's total revenue.
The company reported a significant increase in EBITDA, which rose by 24% year-on-year to USD 782 million, reflecting contributions from higher-margin international operations. Net profit also saw an increase of 20% year-on-year, totaling USD 337 million for the same period.
The UAE network indicated a strong uptick in patient activity, with hospital bed occupancy rates reaching 75% in the first half of 2026. The financial results, covering the six-month period ending June 30, 2026, highlight the strong operational performance of PureHealth, bolstered by the ongoing expansion of its international Care platform and sustained growth in the Cover insurance segment.
Chairman H.E. Kamal Al Maazmi noted that the performance reflects the effectiveness of the Group’s long-term strategy and disciplined execution of its vision to create a globally diversified healthcare entity. He emphasized the focus on diversifying the earnings base and strengthening the foundation for sustainable growth.
Group CEO Shaista Asif remarked on the resilience of the integrated platform model, which recorded profitable growth across various business segments. She highlighted ongoing investments in advanced clinical capabilities, digital development, and capacity expansion that position PureHealth for future growth.
The company also announced several strategic initiatives, including the launch of the Abu Dhabi Health Research Centre and a partnership with Aldar Properties to integrate healthcare into future communities. Additionally, PureHealth marked the groundbreaking of the SEHA New Corniche Hospital for Women and Newborns, showcasing its commitment to expanding healthcare infrastructure in the region.
