Woodsboro Bank Announces Commercial Banking Growth with Increased Lending Limit & Team Expansion
Woodsboro Bank, the longest-standing community bank in Frederick County, has announced an expansion of its commercial banking capabilities. The enhancement is attributed to the strong performance of the team, key new hires, and increases in the bank's legal lending limit, reflecting its commitment to supporting larger-scale businesses and economic development projects throughout the county.
The increased lending limit allows Woodsboro Bank to finance larger commercial real estate deals, term loans, and lines of credit independently, facilitating faster local decision-making and more direct client support.
"Frederick County is in an exciting period of growth, and Woodsboro Bank is proud to grow alongside it," said Rich Ohnmacht, President & CEO. He emphasized the bank's long-standing focus on serving the community, which has been its mission since its founding over 125 years ago.
As part of its expansion, Woodsboro Bank is investing in its commercial banking team. The bank has recently welcomed Rick Ault as Vice President / Commercial Banker, who has over 20 years of financial industry experience, and Wendy Gugliuzza as Commercial Lending Assistant, who brings 28 years of retail and commercial banking experience.
Additionally, two longtime employees have been promoted: Austin Pearre to Senior Vice President & Commercial Banking Team Lead, and Andrew Griffin to Credit Analyst. Chris Clemons, Executive Vice President/Chief Commercial Banking Officer, noted that these promotions highlight the talent and dedication of the bank's commercial banking team.
With an expanded team and enhanced lending capabilities, Woodsboro Bank aims to support the economic momentum in the region, assisting local business owners in navigating growth and creating jobs within the Frederick community.
