HIZENERGY Enters Global Top Tier with BloombergNEF Tier 1 Listing

HIZENERGY, a company founded in China in 2022, has been recognized in the Q3 2026 Energy Storage Tier 1 Manufacturer List released by BloombergNEF (BNEF), a prominent energy research institute. This recognition positions HIZENERGY among the world's leading energy storage suppliers, particularly for its specialization in commercial and industrial (C&I) energy storage solutions.

The Q3 2026 Tier 1 list includes 68 manufacturers, predominantly established industry players with over ten years of experience. HIZENERGY's inclusion on its first attempt marks a significant achievement, challenging the industry norm that typically requires new companies 5 to 8 years to meet Tier 1 standards.

HIZENERGY attributes its competitive edge to its focus on independent research and development. Over half of its workforce comprises research engineers, who collectively hold more than 120 patents related to energy storage technology. In 2026, the company launched its proprietary 300kW/460kW liquid-cooled high-power Power Conversion System (PCS), addressing key issues of conventional C&I storage systems, such as large footprints and high operational losses.

By mid-2026, HIZENERGY reported a cumulative installed energy storage capacity exceeding 1.8GWh, with over 6,000 energy storage cabinets deployed across China. The company has also established local teams in Europe and Southeast Asia, successfully commissioning projects in several countries, including Belgium and Germany.

HIZENERGY's achievement of BNEF Tier 1 status is viewed as a starting point for the company. Future plans include enhancing core R&D, further developing liquid-cooled high-power storage systems and intelligent energy management software, expanding service networks in Europe and Southeast Asia, and diversifying applications for energy storage. The company remains focused on providing reliable and cost-effective clean energy solutions for industrial and commercial enterprises worldwide.
