Remcon Equipment Names Sean Johnston Chief Executive Officer as Company Prepares for Capacity Growth
Remcon Equipment, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of heavy-duty custom conveyor systems and related equipment, has appointed Sean Johnston as the new Chief Executive Officer. Johnston will lead the company as it expands its production capacity, strengthens operations, and seeks new growth opportunities.
Dennis Lux, who has played a significant role in shaping Remcon for many years, will continue with the company as CEO Emeritus. In this position, Lux will advise Johnston and the Remcon team, ensuring continuity in customer and industry relationships while offering guidance based on his extensive knowledge of the company's products and operations.
"This is a transition in leadership, not a departure from what makes Remcon successful," Johnston said. Emphasizing the company's commitment to its customers, he added that they can expect the same direct communication and reliable products moving forward. Dan Lueck, Head of Engineering, noted that Johnston understands the value of Remcon's history and the responsibility of driving it forward.
In conjunction with the leadership transition, Remcon has launched a redesigned website, RemconEquipment.com, which offers customers and industry partners an improved overview of the company's capabilities. These include turn-key conveyor systems, custom conveyors, sorting and separation equipment, and installation services, among others.
Founded in 1977 and based in Airway Heights, Washington, Remcon has produced over 1,500 systems for recycling and demanding material-handling environments. The company reassured existing customers that its focus on practical and maintainable equipment will persist even as it prepares for growth.
