August 5, 2026

Kinetic has announced a significant broadband expansion in Oklahoma, bringing multi-gig fiber internet to an additional 8,000 homes across more than 30 communities during the second quarter of 2026. This initiative is part of Kinetic's ongoing efforts to enhance technology access and provide greater value to customers.

In this latest expansion, fiber locations have been added in cities including Broken Arrow, Hominy, Stilwell, Elmore City, Checotah, and Fairfax. According to Ookla's 2026 H1 Speedtest data, Kinetic delivers the most responsive internet speeds in Broken Arrow. Customer feedback highlights a positive service experience, with one user, Cody Saunders from Broken Arrow, noting improved connectivity and customer service compared to a previous provider.

Kinetic currently offers high-speed connectivity to over 76,000 locations in Oklahoma. Research suggests that communities with fiber connections experience significant benefits, including 213% higher business growth, a 10% increase in self-employment, and a 14-17% rise in home values. Furthermore, fiber technology is characterized by greater sustainability compared to traditional copper cables, utilizing up to 95% less energy per gigabit and requiring less maintenance over time, thereby reducing environmental impacts.

Stacy Hale, Kinetic’s state operations president, stated that fast and reliable fiber internet is crucial for enhancing the quality of life in the digital age, offering new opportunities for communities of all sizes. Kinetic aims to build future-ready infrastructure that supports residents and businesses for years ahead.

Kinetic fiber customers can expect features such as seamless 4K+ streaming across multiple devices without data caps. The company also offers enhanced Wi-Fi solutions, including Wi-Fi 7 technology, capable of connecting over 200 devices simultaneously and ensuring comprehensive coverage. Additionally, eligible customers can receive a discount on YouTube TV subscriptions when bundled with Kinetic's internet service.
