SINBON Electronics Partners with Nexcellent Energy to Expand Hydrogen Energy Applications Across Urban Industries

May 13, 2026

Alex Shiung, Business Development Assistant Vice President at SINBON, expressed the company's commitment to collaborating with partners who share a vision for sustainability. He stated, "Together, we hope to build an ecosystem that is friendly to the environment and beneficial for the planet."

SINBON is actively working on creating a network of partners focused on sustainable energy innovation. The company aims to connect technology providers, system integrators, and operational partners to develop scalable clean-energy solutions for global deployment across various cities and industries.

As urban areas work toward net-zero emissions, the demand for cleaner and flexible energy solutions is intensifying. These areas face unique challenges in reducing emissions while ensuring reliable power for both mobile and off-grid applications.

In response to these challenges, SINBON has announced a collaboration with Nexcellent Energy, a Taiwan-based company that specializes in hydrogen-powered energy systems. The partnership seeks to expedite the development of hydrogen power solutions tailored to emerging urban energy requirements. By merging SINBON's capabilities in system integration and manufacturing with Nexcellent Energy's hydrogen technology, the two entities aim to broaden hydrogen energy applications across multiple sectors.

This collaboration will allow SINBON Electronics to utilize Nexcellent Energy's hydrogen power systems and jointly explore market opportunities in various applications, including micro electric vehicles, commercial drones, mobile hydrogen microgrids, and on-site AI data center power systems. The goal is to address scenarios that require extended operating hours with low noise and reduced carbon emissions, providing a viable alternative to traditional battery-based solutions.

As part of its mission, SINBON recognizes the growing urban energy challenges illustrated by the reliance of food trucks in New York City on gasoline-powered generators, which create emissions and noise. To counter this, SINBON, alongside its partners, is evaluating the implementation of modular hydrogen-powered energy systems to better support urban sustainability, particularly for mobile businesses needing cleaner energy sources.
