Wayfair Continues Nationwide Retail Expansion With New Cincinnati Store

Wayfair Inc. (NYSE: W) has announced plans to open a new large-format retail store in Cincinnati, Ohio, which is expected to open in 2027. This move is part of the company's strategy to expand into high-impact markets across the United States.

"Cincinnati is an exciting market for us, not only for its strong retail environment but also for its reach across the broader tri-state region," said Liza Lefkowski, vice president of merchandising and stores at Wayfair. "We're looking forward to serving customers across Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana and helping them create homes they love."

The upcoming store will be situated at 4825 Marburg Avenue within the Center of Cincinnati, a major retail area located at the intersection of Interstate 71 and Route 562. The approximately 130,000-square-foot, single-level space is positioned in a high-traffic corridor that connects key retail hubs, enhancing accessibility for customers.

Wayfair's Cincinnati location will offer a wide range of products, including furniture, décor, housewares, and appliances, along with curated Wayfair Verified products and dedicated free design services. Many items will be available for immediate take-home, while larger pieces such as sofas and dining sets can be delivered quickly via the company’s logistics network.

This store will be Wayfair's second location in Ohio, adding to its growing portfolio, which includes stores in Wilmette, IL, and Atlanta, GA, as well as announced locations in Denver, CO; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Columbus, OH; and Westchester, NY. This expansion indicates Wayfair's commitment to enhancing its omnichannel experience for customers.
