Sharon Katz-Pearlman and Marina Olman-Pal, shareholders of global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, have been recognized by Legal Benchmarking Group's 2026 Women in Business Law Americas Awards. Katz-Pearlman, a shareholder in the firm's global Tax Practice, specializes in representing large multinationals, partnerships, high-wealth individuals, and other taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) on domestic and cross-border issues across multiple industries. She guides clients from the pre-exam phase through examination, appeals, and, if necessary, litigation. Katz-Pearlman has extensive experience resolving transfer pricing issues both at the examination and IRS Appeals level, as well as in Competent Authority proceedings, including seeking Mutual Agreement Procedures and Advanced Pricing Agreements.
Olman-Pal, co-chair of the firm's Financial Regulatory & Compliance Practice, advises foreign and U.S. financial institutions on a wide range of regulatory and compliance matters at both the federal and state levels. Her areas of expertise include licensing and chartering, mergers, acquisitions, and compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, anti-money laundering regulations, and other related matters.
