MARSTEK presenta la familia VENUS, impulsando una nueva era de baterías plug-in residenciales

May 31, 2026

MARSTEK, a global leader in plug-in battery technology, hosted an event in Shenzhen, China, welcoming over 100 distributors, partners, media representatives, and industry guests from across Europe for the official inauguration of its new headquarters and the launch of its new VENUS plug-in battery family.

The event marked a significant milestone for MARSTEK in its ongoing efforts to advance plug-in energy storage solutions for European households. Guests toured the company's Battery R&D Institute, R&D Center, testing laboratory, experimental center, and production lines, including the VENUS E Gen 3.0 production line, inverter manufacturing line, and residential ESS assembly line, gaining insight into MARSTEK's innovation capabilities, quality control systems, and vertically integrated manufacturing processes.

During the launch event, MARSTEK unveiled the new VENUS family, which includes VENUS E Mini, VENUS E GEN 4.0, and VENUS E MAX. These products expand the applications of plug-in batteries from basic energy storage for balconies to full-home energy backup, smart energy management, and integration with electric vehicle charging.

VENUS E Mini is noted as the world's thinnest plug-in battery, designed for entry-level users and small spaces. It provides bidirectional power of 1.5 kW and a backup output of 1.5 kW, with a peak power capacity of up to 1.8 kW. Enhanced by MARSTEK AI, it features smart energy forecasting and TOU management, optimizing electrical consumption. Its slim design and light weight of 22 kg make it a flexible and compact energy storage solution for modern homes.

VENUS E GEN 4.0 is an optimized AC-coupled plug-in battery designed for homes with existing solar systems, supporting full-home energy backup and intelligent integration with EV chargers. It has a charge and discharge power of 3 kW and a storage capacity of 5 kWh, offering stable and reliable energy supply. Compared to previous generations, it is 21% lighter, occupies 7% less space, and features a clearer segmented display for improved user experience. With durable cells of 314 Ah and over 10,000 lifecycle cycles, it provides long-term reliability.

VENUS E MAX is described as the world's first all-in-one 10 kWh plug-in battery, aimed at homes with higher energy needs and existing rooftop photovoltaic systems. It offers bidirectional grid-connected power and backup of 3.6 kW, along with 10 kWh of storage capacity. The SmartBox parallel expansion architecture supports up to three units in both single-phase and three-phase systems, allowing scalable expansion up to 10.8 kW / 30 kWh in minutes, alongside easy integration with MARSTEK's EV chargers.
