Vertice acquires Vendr to create the world's largest procurement intelligence dataset and lead autonomous AI negotiation

LONDON and NEW YORK, June 1, 2026 — Vertice, an AI procurement platform, has announced its acquisition of Vendr, a leader in software pricing in the United States.

This acquisition aims to create the world's largest procurement intelligence dataset, as Vertice plans to integrate Vendr's software insights with its own. The combined dataset will encompass over $75 billion in global indirect spending across 32,000 vendors, incorporating real-world pricing and human interactions from 250,000 negotiated contracts, which span various software and service offerings. This expanded data set is expected to enhance Vertice’s capabilities in fully autonomous spend negotiation.

Customers such as ARM, Brex, Duolingo, Twilio, and Santander will gain access to the integrated data within the Vertice platform. This data will be made available at critical decision-making points to assist finance and procurement teams in evaluating vendors, managing renewals, and planning negotiations more effectively and confidently.

Roy Tuvey, Founder and CEO of Vertice, emphasized the shared vision between Vertice and Vendr in utilizing AI for procurement. He stated that the collaboration would enable the development of purpose-designed AI agents trained on real-world data for specific procurement use cases. Tuvey highlighted the benefits of having a comprehensive dataset, stating, "Our combined software pricing data and vendor intelligence has 2M+ price points and surpasses that of our nearest competitors by an order of magnitude."

Ryan Neu, CEO of Vendr, acknowledged the significance of the merger, noting that Vendr's initial goal was to provide buyers with more information for better purchasing decisions. He expressed excitement about the potential to enhance the intelligence available within the Vertice platform, now significantly richer thanks to the acquisition.

Vertice has recently been recognized as a leader in Intake-to-Procure platforms by Lionfish Tech Advisors and as a notable vendor in the 2026 Landscape report on Supplier Value Management by Forrester. Vertice, founded by the Tuvey brothers, has established a robust presence in the procurement space and aims to deliver increased savings and efficiency to its clients.
