OpenSpace Surpasses 1,000 Data Center Projects, Defining the Construction Intelligence Standard for AI Infrastructure

As demand for AI-driven and hyperscale infrastructure increases, the construction of data centers is undergoing significant global expansion, posing challenges for owners and contractors to complete complex projects within tighter timelines, according to the company.

The OpenSpace Visual Intelligence Platform creates a comprehensive visual record of job sites using standard smartphones, 360° cameras, and drones, converting the data into a real-time indexed record of construction progress. Using Spatial AI, the platform maps images to floor plans and BIM models, allowing teams to verify work and detect issues earlier.

A recent project in Longcross, U.K., delivered by Sweet Projects, illustrates the benefits of real-time visual visibility on schedule reliability and risk management. Project Director Andrew Moss stated, "OpenSpace gave us a clear, tamper-proof record of what was happening on-site at every stage," highlighting its effectiveness in maintaining project timelines and avoiding disputes.

OpenSpace currently supports over 100,000 projects worldwide, engaging nearly 400,000 users across 131 countries. As the construction industry becomes increasingly data-driven, the need for real-time visibility into construction sites is emerging as a fundamental capability for managing complex projects.
