Newmark Secures £325 Million Financing for 30 Fenchurch Street on Behalf of Brookfield
Newmark Group, Inc. has arranged a £325 million loan to refinance 30 Fenchurch Street on behalf of private real estate funds managed by Brookfield. The financing was coordinated by Matthew Featherstone, Head of Debt and Structured Finance, Europe; Matthew Kang, Vice President; and associates Tushar Gupta and Stevan Spasenovic. The funding was provided by OCBC and Mashreq.
30 Fenchurch Street is a prominent office building located in Central London, covering 544,883 square feet. The property is fully occupied and serves as a global hub for the insurance, finance, legal, and media sectors. Since acquiring the building in 2021, Brookfield has focused on enhancing its sustainability credentials and energy efficiency, which includes efforts to eliminate fossil fuel use.
