Roborock Partners with Miami Lighthouse to Support Blind Soccer and Inclusive Innovation

Roborock announced a partnership with Miami Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired, pledging a donation of $50,000 to support the organization's blind soccer program and unveil the Roborock ClearPath Classroom. The ribbon-cutting ceremony for the classroom is scheduled for June 17.

The collaboration aligns with the commencement of global football celebrations in Miami and Roborock's community engagement at Aventura Mall beginning June 20. The initiative aims to demonstrate how technology and community involvement can promote accessibility and create meaningful local impact.

The ceremony will feature speeches from Virginia Jacko, President and CEO of Miami Lighthouse; Oseas De Leon, Senior Technology Specialist at Miami Lighthouse and player on the USA Blind Soccer Men's National Team; Roborock's leadership; and Florida State Senator Shevrin Jones. Attendees will also witness a blind soccer demonstration led by Miami Lighthouse students and coaches, showcasing how visually impaired athletes navigate the game through sound and echolocation.

Miami Lighthouse assists nearly 30,000 participants annually through programs for blind and visually impaired individuals. The funding from Roborock is intended to support USABA-certified blind soccer coaches, orientation and mobility training, and specialized assessments for participants, thereby expanding access to development opportunities for visually impaired youth.

Additionally, Roborock will host a public activation themed "Your Home, Your Stadium" at Aventura Mall from June 20 to June 23. The event will offer interactive product demonstrations and community engagement activities, showcasing their latest technology innovations.
