Taylor Morrison Names Mike Carlo Division President of Sarasota

Taylor Morrison has appointed Mike Carlo as president of its Sarasota division, bringing over 25 years of experience in the homebuilding industry to the role. The company, recognized as America's Most Trusted® Home Builder, aims for strategic growth and an exceptional customer experience under Carlo's leadership.

Steve Kempton, Area President, expressed confidence in Carlo's abilities. "Mike is a proven leader with an impressive track record of operational excellence and strategic growth across several homebuilders," Kempton said. He emphasized that Carlo's experience in driving growth and executing thoughtful land and sales strategies would enhance the company's regional position.

Before joining Taylor Morrison, Carlo held leadership positions at Richmond American Homes, serving as Division President and Senior Division President for multiple locations. He also served as President of CenterPoint Properties, LLC, and held roles in sales and land acquisition at Lennar's Northeast Florida operations. Carlo earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois and a law degree from American University.

Esplanade at Wellen Park has recently opened for sales, while Esplanade at Cammaray Lakewood Ranch is expected to launch in early 2027. The new communities will feature a variety of amenities designed to enhance the living experience for residents.
