VIVATECH 2026 CELEBRATES ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY WITH A RECORD EDITION SURPASSING 200,000 VISITORS

VivaTech 2026, Europe's largest tech and innovation event, took place from June 17 to 20, 2026, at Paris Porte de Versailles. The event celebrated its 10th edition, attracting over 200,000 visitors from 165 nationalities, along with more than 15,000 startups and 1,155 speakers. The event garnered over 5 billion cumulative impressions on social media, solidifying its status as a key global gathering.

The event featured prominent figures in the technology sector, including Jeff Bezos of Amazon and Blue Origin, Dave Limp of Blue Origin, Bernard Arnault of LVMH, and Henna Virkkunen and Ekaterina Zaharieva from the European Commission. Germany, designated as the Country of the Year 2026, was represented by a ministerial delegation, while Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi led discussions as the AI Country Partner 2026, continuing themes from the AI Summit held in New Delhi.

VivaTech showcased more than 4,500 exhibitors, with 61% hailing from international markets. Notable innovations included a smart contact lens developed by XPANCEO, a thought-controlled humanoid robot by Unitree x HABS, and 3D-printed resorbable implants from Lattice Medical. New platforms such as the Business Plaza and Investors Office Hours aimed to facilitate business connections.

Additionally, the inaugural VivaTech x Bloomberg Awards were presented, recognizing influential figures in global tech, including Sir Tim Berners-Lee (Visionary Award), Joe Tsai (Leadership Award), and Yann LeCun (Momentum Award).

VivaTech expanded its reach by hosting an open-air technology showcase along the Champs-Élysées on June 14, culminating in its public opening on June 20, featuring astronaut Thomas Pesquet as a guest star. The organizers described this 10th edition as not just a celebration, but as the beginning of a new promising decade for the event. The next edition of VivaTech is scheduled for June 16 to 19, 2027, at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.
