DIE VIVATECH 2026 FEIERT IHR 10-JÄHRIGES JUBILÄUM MIT EINER REKORDAUSGABE VON MEHR ALS 200.000 BESUCHERN
VivaTech in Paris celebrated its 10th edition from June 17 to June 20, 2026, surpassing 200,000 visitors from 165 countries. The event featured over 15,000 start-ups and 1,155 speakers, achieving more than 5 billion impressions on social media. This year marked a significant milestone for Europe's largest technology and innovation event, reinforcing its status as a global meeting point.
Prominent figures from the global tech industry attended VivaTech, including Jeff Bezos (Amazon & Blue Origin), Dave Limp (Blue Origin), Bernard Arnault (LVMH), Henna Virkkunen (European Commission), and Ekaterina Zaharieva (European Commission). Germany was represented by a ministerial delegation as the "Country of the Year 2026," while India participated as the "AI Partner of the Year 2026," led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi following the AI Summit in New Delhi.
More than 4,500 exhibitors showcased their latest innovations, with 61% coming from abroad. Notable innovations included the smart contact lens from XPANCEO, a thought-controlled humanoid robot from Unitree x HABS, and 3D-printed resorbable implants from Lattice Medical. New formats like the Business Plaza and Investors Office Hours facilitated business networking.
The VivaTech x Bloomberg Awards were presented for the first time, recognizing influential figures in the tech industry, including Sir Tim Berners-Lee (Visionary Award), Joe Tsai (Leadership Award), and Yann LeCun (Momentum Award).
On June 14, VivaTech also took to the Champs-Élysées for an outdoor technology show, culminating with astronaut Thomas Pesquet as a special guest when the event opened its doors to the public on June 20. Organizers Maurice Lévy, Michèle Benbunan, and François Bitouzet stated, "This 10th edition was not just a celebration of the past nine years but the beginning of a promising new decade." VivaTech 2027 is scheduled for June 16 to June 19, 2027, at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.
