Hoymiles recently held a launch event for its new HiBattery 4020 X plug-in home battery in Munich on June 22. The event, themed "Unbreakable Night," highlighted significant advancements in the series concerning safety and reliability, while also reinforcing strategic partnerships with over 180 industry leaders, distributors, and key stakeholders in Europe.
The HiBattery 4020 series represents Hoymiles' commitment to rechargeable energy storage systems, introducing an intelligent home energy storage solution. The HiBattery 4020 X is the company's first hybrid model, directly connecting to photovoltaic modules and supporting photovoltaic input power of up to 4,000 W through four independent MPPT channels, making it suitable for complex rooftops and balcony installations.
The HiBattery 4020 AC offers an AC coupling solution that easily integrates with existing solar installations to instantly add storage capacity. Key features of the HiBattery 4020 series include modularity with stackable, cable-free designs allowing for easy expansion from 4 kWh to 16 kWh, and a high DC/AC efficiency of 96.5% for powering essential household appliances.
Safety is emphasized with automotive-grade LiFePO4 cells, a multilayer battery management system, an aerosol fire extinguishing system, and an IP66 protection rating, ensuring reliability under all circumstances. The series also features advanced AI that optimizes energy consumption based on dynamic rates and offers real-time cost transparency through the Energy Ledger dashboard.
During the event, the HiBattery 4020 series received the prestigious EUPD Innovation Award, presented by EUPD Research CEO Markus A.W. Hoehner, recognizing the product’s excellence in safety and innovation. The launch gathered more than 180 guests, including leading European distributors, key partners, industry leaders, and media representatives, with discussions held by partners like Tepto and Elektramat, who expressed confidence in the HiBattery 4020 series. The evening concluded with the launch of the "Unbreakable Alliance," honoring partnerships formed with 25 key European clients, reaffirming Hoymiles' commitment to long-term collaborative success.
