PioneerIP and Questel Partner to Bring AI-Powered Patent-to-Product Mapping to IP Teams

June 30, 2026

PioneerIP, an AI-powered patent intelligence company, has partnered with Questel, a global leader in intellectual property (IP) software and services, to launch a new integrated workflow that connects patents to commercialized products. This solution aims to support licensing, enforcement, and portfolio strategy for IP professionals.

The collaboration combines Questel's extensive patent data infrastructure with PioneerIP's AI capabilities. This joint initiative will enable IP teams to link patents with products currently available in the market, assess the relevance of their portfolios, and identify opportunities for licensing and enforcement more efficiently than traditional manual analysis methods.

Executives from both companies emphasized the importance of transparency in patent valuation. Yulia Druzhnikova, CEO and Co-founder of PioneerIP, stated that the partnership addresses a significant gap in the industry, allowing IP teams to make informed decisions based on reliable patent-to-product mappings. Benoit Chevalier, Patent Product Director at Questel, added that advancements in AI have made it easier for organizations of all sizes to access licensing and litigation tools that were previously limited to larger IP departments.

PioneerIP, based in Canada, focuses on helping patent owners, law firms, and IP teams find licensing opportunities and better assess potential unauthorized use and portfolios. Questel operates globally, serving over 20,000 clients with an integrated suite of IP software and services designed to improve productivity and efficiency throughout the IP lifecycle.
