Best in Billiards Names the Greatest Players, Products and Contributors in American Billiards History
In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States, Best in Billiards has announced its inaugural award recipients, recognizing individuals, companies, publications, and events regarded as the best in American billiards history.

Nick Varner received the Best All-Around Player award, while Earl Strickland was honored as Best 9-Ball Player. Willie Mosconi was recognized as Best Straight Pool Player, Efren "Bata" Reyes was named Best One-Pocket Player, and John Brumback earned the title of Best Bank Pool Player. Allison Fisher was distinguished as Best Female Player for her championship career, and Minnesota Fats was recognized as Best Entertainer for his influence on the public image of billiards.
