Hexaware Names Srinivasan Panchapakesan Chief Platform Officer

July 9, 2026

Hexaware Technologies has appointed Srinivasan Panchapakesan as President and Chief Platform Officer, a newly created position that takes effect immediately. This role aims to unify the company's platform portfolio as it advances into the agentic AI era.

Srinivasan will oversee the development, integration, and scaling of Hexaware's various platforms, which include Amaze® for cloud modernization, RapidX® for AI-accelerated software engineering, Tensai® for agentic IT operations, and Agentverse™ for enterprise AI agents. He will also strengthen collaborations with AI ecosystem partners and manage the roadmap, governance, and enterprise-scale adoption of Hexaware's consolidated platform offerings.

The establishment of this role reflects Hexaware's effort to enhance its platform-led strategy, responding to increasing demand for AI solutions that extend beyond isolated pilot projects to widespread production use. Rather than operate as separate products, the portfolio will be integrated under a unified AI-native services foundation, allowing clients to adopt these solutions for modernization in a cohesive manner.

Srinivasan brings over 35 years of industry experience, including more than 27 years at Hexaware, where he has played significant roles in platform engineering and complex program execution. Previously, he served as Senior Corporate Vice President and Global Delivery Head for Digital & Software. He has been instrumental in developing Amaze® and RapidX®, which are key components of Hexaware's platform-led services strategy.

R. Srikrishna, CEO and Executive Director at Hexaware, emphasized the importance of platforms in serving enterprise clients moving forward, expressing confidence in Srinivasan's leadership capabilities. Srinivasan acknowledged the common concern among enterprises about transitioning from AI pilot projects to reliable, production-ready AI solutions, highlighting the need for a unified platform to enhance value and trust in AI capabilities.

The charter initiated by Srinivasan is aimed at alleviating obstacles to modernization and bridging the gap between the current state of enterprises and their future goals.
