Agility Robotics Strengthens Executive Leadership Team with Appointment of Michael Beer as Chief Financial Officer
Agility Robotics has appointed Michael Beer as Chief Financial Officer as the company prepares for its planned public listing through a business combination with Churchill Capital Corp XI (NASDAQ: CCXI). This move is part of a strategic strengthening of Agility's executive leadership team amid the expansion of its commercial momentum.
In conjunction with Beer’s appointment, Jennifer Hunter, the current Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, will transition solely to the role of Chief Operating Officer. Hunter will focus on scaling Agility's global operations and supply chain networks as the company ramps up production and customer deployments. She has been instrumental in building the operational and financial foundation during a period of rapid growth.
The restructuring of the leadership team reflects Agility's commitment to investing in capabilities needed to support its transition to a public company. By appointing dedicated executives for finance and operations, Agility aims to bolster its organizational foundation and create long-term shareholder value.
As the new Chief Financial Officer, Beer will be responsible for overseeing Agility's finance organization, which includes capital markets, financial planning, accounting, treasury, and investor relations. His responsibilities will include leading the company’s financial strategy and collaborating with the executive team to support ongoing commercial expansion and long-term growth.
Beer joins Agility at a time when the company is experiencing significant commercial momentum, with deployments expanding alongside notable customers such as Schaeffler, GXO, and Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada. Agility is also working with strategic partners including NVIDIA, Amazon, and SoftBank Vision Fund 2, as it aims to further extend its leadership in the humanoid robotics space.
Prior to joining Agility, Beer served as Chief Financial Officer at Energy Vault Holdings and held senior finance roles at various tech companies, along with experience as an equity research analyst covering transportation and logistics sectors. He currently resides on a few boards and holds degrees in Finance and Entrepreneurship, as well as an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
