Sogeclair: signs an agreement with Akkodis to divest its engineering activities dedicated to Airbus

August 5, 2026

Sogeclair has signed an agreement with Akkodis for the divestment of its engineering activities dedicated to Airbus. This announcement follows an earlier communication made on May 18, 2026, regarding the proposed divestment. The agreement aims to support the long-term development of these engineering activities amid growing demand for advanced engineering capabilities in the aerospace sector.

Akkodis, a global digital engineering consulting company, views this transaction as a strategic move to diversify and enhance its portfolio by expanding its aerospace capabilities, particularly in aerostructures, cabin, and manufacturing engineering.

For Sogeclair, this divestment aligns with its strategy to focus on high value-added engineering and manufacturing activities throughout the product lifecycle, while also pursuing diversification into sectors such as business aviation and defense. Airbus is expected to remain one of Sogeclair's major customers, particularly through its industrial thermoplastics operations.

The completion of the transaction is contingent upon regulatory approvals and is anticipated to close at the beginning of the fourth quarter of 2026.

Sogeclair is recognized as a supplier of innovative, high added-value solutions across various sectors including aeronautics, space, and defense. The company provides comprehensive engineering and production services, supporting clients from design through to product lifecycle management. Sogeclair is listed on Euronext Growth Paris.
