Deployable Energy Welcomes Strategic Investment and Commercialization Collaboration with Solaris Energy Infrastructure
Deployable Energy has announced a strategic partnership with Solaris Energy Infrastructure, Inc. (NYSE: SEI) aimed at advancing the commercialization of its deployable microreactor technology. This collaboration will allow Solaris to invest in Deployable Energy as part of their second quarter 2026 business update.
In their announcement, Solaris highlighted that the investment offers early exposure to next-generation nuclear technology and reflects their commitment to work with Deployable Energy on the commercialization of its small modular reactor (SMR) technology, which complements Solaris' existing power generation capabilities.
The partnership merges Deployable Energy's focus on delivering transportable and resilient nuclear power with Solaris' extensive experience in deploying and maintaining distributed energy infrastructure for critical applications. Both companies anticipate significant opportunities in addressing the growing demand for reliable power across defense, industrial, and digital infrastructure sectors.
Bobby Gallagher, CEO and Co-Founder of Deployable Energy, stated, "We’re excited to welcome Solaris as both an investor and strategic collaborator. Solaris has established itself as a leader in delivering reliable power infrastructure for demanding applications, which validates the need for next-generation energy solutions."
Bill Zartler, Founder and Co-CEO of Solaris Energy Infrastructure, expressed confidence in Deployable Energy's ability to deliver next-generation nuclear products, stating, "The speed they've shown getting to first criticality and their approach to avoiding supply chain constraints gives us confidence that the Deployable Energy team can turn next-generation nuclear products into reality in the relatively near term."
