Splitit Named Winner of "Best Embedded Payments Solution for Merchants & E-commerce" at the 2026 PayTech Awards
Splitit, a company specializing in card-linked installment payments, has been recognized as the "Best Embedded Payments Solution for Merchants & E-commerce" at the 2026 PayTech Awards, as announced by the company. This accolade, presented by FinTech Futures, honors technology providers that deliver strong embedded payments solutions, assessing criteria such as modern technology, comprehensive functionality, and proven results for users.
The PayTech Awards recognize excellence and innovation within the banking, financial technology, and payments sectors. The winners were revealed during a ceremony held on June 25, 2026, in London, attended by leaders in payments and banking to celebrate the achievements in paytech over the past year.
Splitit's Installments-as-a-Service platform enables merchants to integrate card-linked installments into their existing payment systems, whether online, in-app, or face-to-face, following the recent launch of Splitit Go™. By allowing shoppers to utilize available credit on their existing cards without needing a new loan, credit check, or third-party platform, Splitit facilitates quick and flexible payment options for merchants.
The platform currently serves over 4,500 active merchants across 30 countries, with shoppers able to access it in more than 100 countries and currencies. Splitit's approval rates exceed 85%, markedly higher than the 35–40% average seen in traditional buy-now-pay-later options. This access encompasses around 1.2 billion cardholders worldwide who can utilize Splitit installment payments without applying for new credit.
Customer behavior post-purchase also reflects the platform's reliability. Fashionette, a retailer using Splitit, reported that transactions completed through the platform had an 18% lower return rate compared to single payment purchases, indicating that consumers using installments may make more deliberate purchasing decisions.
Nandan Sheth, CEO of Splitit, remarked, "Embedded payments only work if the shopper never notices them. That's what we built Splitit for: installments that run on credit shoppers already have, built directly into checkout." He added that the recognition is a testament to both the merchants and the Splitit team. This marks Splitit's second award in 2026, as the company was also recognized as a Georgia Fast 40 honoree by the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Atlanta, celebrating the fastest-growing middle-market companies in Georgia.
