Axios Names UCB a Winner of the Metro Atlanta Top Workplaces 2026 Award

UCB, a global biopharmaceutical company headquartered in metro Atlanta, has received the 2026 Metro Atlanta Top Workplaces Award from Axios. The recognition is based on employee feedback and comes as the company expands its operations in Georgia with a $2 billion investment in a new biomanufacturing campus that is expected to create over 330 jobs.

Having maintained its U.S. headquarters in metro Atlanta for more than 30 years, UCB currently employs over 400 people in Georgia. The new biomanufacturing campus, planned for Gwinnett County, is anticipated to generate an estimated $5 billion in economic impact.

The Top Workplaces award is given to fewer than 60 organizations with 159-499 employees in the metro Atlanta area and is based solely on employee feedback collected through a confidential survey administered by Energage. UCB previously received this award in 2021.

UCB's long-term growth strategy in the United States continues to emphasize its commitment to the state of Georgia, where it plans to establish its first U.S. biomanufacturing campus as part of its ongoing expansion efforts.
