MICHAEL DAVID WINERY WELCOMES MICHAEL STEIN AS VICE PRESIDENT OF NATIONAL SALES

Michael David Winery has appointed Michael Stein as Vice President of National Sales, effective immediately. The winery, a family-owned business based in Lodi, California, is continuing to strengthen its national presence as it embarks on its next phase of expansion.

Stein brings over two decades of experience in the wine industry, having held sales leadership positions at notable organizations such as Robert Mondavi, Icon Estates (a subsidiary of Constellation Brands), Terlato Wine Group, and King Estate Winery. In his new role, he will be responsible for national sales strategy and U.S. distributor partnerships across both on-premise and off-premise channels, working closely with executive leadership to enhance brand awareness and distribution nationwide.

Melissa Phillips Stroud, Vice President of Michael David Winery, expressed enthusiasm about Stein's arrival, stating, "His extensive experience building distributor partnerships, leading successful sales teams, and growing brands across the country makes him a tremendous addition as we continue to build on the momentum of Michael David Winery."

Michael David Winery has been a well-established name in the Lodi wine region, known for its distinctive wines and iconic labels, including Freakshow, Misfits & Mavens, Earthquake, and Inkblot. Founded by brothers Michael and David Phillips, the winery released its first commercial wines in 1984 after years of grape growing, continuing a family farming tradition that spans six generations.
