LumenStim, a beauty and wellness technology company known for its home phototherapy innovations, has received approval to launch its peroxide-free teeth whitening system on Kickstarter. The upcoming campaign introduces a new approach to oral care by seamlessly integrating advanced whitening technology into the daily routine of sonic tooth brushing.
The next-generation peroxide-free teeth whitening system combines photocatalytic whitening technology with sonic brushing, allowing users to incorporate teeth whitening directly into their brushing routine without the need for strips, trays, or additional whitening sessions. LumenStim has designed an integrated system that merges brushing at up to 42,600 vibrations per minute (VPM) with a specialized dual-chamber whitening paste and guided care, all within a single three-minute daily application.
This launch marks LumenStim's entry into next-generation oral care, supported by proprietary technologies for which the company is currently seeking worldwide patent protection. While specific technical details related to pending patent applications are not being disclosed at this time, the company's CEO emphasized the goal of making beauty and wellness technology more intelligent and less complicated.
The LumenStim system features a 3D brushing motion designed for effective cleaning along the gumline, with four sonic modes—“White+,” “Clean,” “Strengthen,” and “Polish”—allowing users to tailor their experience to various daily oral care needs. The guiding three-minute session is intended to fit seamlessly into existing daily routines, eliminating the need to schedule separate whitening time.
Preliminary data from earlier LumenStim products support this innovative approach. According to an SGS report on the Gen-1 system, a study with 14 valid participants using the prescribed routine for 21 days showed that 71.4% reported noticeably whiter teeth, while instrumental measurements indicated a reduction in yellowness. LumenStim aims to make teeth whitening easier to integrate into everyday routines, building on its extensive experience in the beauty technology sector.
