Freedom Home Care Expands Beyond North Shore With New Huntley Office
Freedom Home Care has opened a new location in Huntley, Illinois, marking its expansion into McHenry and Kane counties for the first time. The company, which has been operating in the North Shore suburbs for over 28 years, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 13 to commemorate the occasion.
The new office is located at 12151 Regency Parkway, Suite 12169, Huntley, Illinois 60142. It will focus on community programs, including a new initiative called Meaningful Mondays, which is set to launch in September 2026.
The Huntley office aims to provide services to families in Huntley, Algonquin, and the surrounding suburbs. Available services include personal home care, outpatient services, and specialized support programs such as transportation and post-surgery assistance.
Operations Manager Sarah Moore expressed a vision for the new location, emphasizing the importance of education, connection, and partnership within the community. "We want the Huntley office to be more than a place people call when they need home care," she stated. "We want to be a resource for the community, bringing together older adults, caregivers, families, and professionals through education and meaningful connections."
The office is already implementing community programming, with a series called Living With Freedom set to begin on August 28. This series will offer educational activities, starting with an Aromatherapy and Healthy Aging session. Additionally, Meaningful Mondays will facilitate networking and educational opportunities for local professionals starting next month.
The ribbon-cutting was attended by representatives from the Huntley Area Chamber of Commerce, the Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber of Commerce, as well as healthcare and senior-service professionals and community partners. Local businesses, including Blessed Little Kitchen, Brunch Cafe-Huntley, and Elle's Deli and Bagels, supported the event.
