Suwanee, Georgia - YFORE Technology has officially launched its first digital key manufactured in the United States at its facility in Suwanee, marking the beginning of localized mass production for North America. Through an integrated end-to-end 'vehicle-cloud-device' architecture, YFORE offers automotive-quality digital access systems that fully comply with the standards set by global alliances for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) in the automotive sector.
YFORE has established itself as a provider of digital key solutions, seamlessly connecting vehicles, cloud services, and smart devices. By merging BLE, UWB, and NFC protocols, the company offers a versatile range of digital access products designed to meet various mobility scenarios.
To address common industry challenges such as approach latency and ‘ping-pong’ locking cycles caused by multipath interference and body shadowing effect, YFORE's advanced digital key leverages Bluetooth® 6.0 Channel Sounding technology and UWB technology. By combining phase-based ranging (PBR) and round-trip time (RTT) measurement, the system achieves bidirectional spatial accuracy with centimeter precision while functioning independently of mobile networks and mitigating vulnerabilities to replay attacks. It expands the stable radio frequency (RF) connection range by up to 30% compared to conventional setups, offering an uninterrupted hands-free PEPS experience with welcome activation at 10 meters, passive unlocking at 2 meters, and locking at 6 meters.
In addition to entry access, YFORE maximizes system efficiency by reusing UWB anchor points integrated into the vehicle. Software-controlled updates enable the seamless incorporation of advanced radar functionalities in various scenarios, including child presence detection, occupant detection in the cabin, kick detection via UWB, and low-power sentinel mode, ensuring comprehensive security and comfort within the vehicle.
YFORE also introduced smart KeyFobs made from various materials—including ceramic, leather, glass, and high-quality matte finishes—along with versatile NFC access solutions. Compatible with smartphones, wearables, and NFC technology access cards, the modular NFC package allows for flexible integration into B-pillars, exterior mirrors, and door handles, complete with capacitive touch sensors. This achievement highlights YFORE's comprehensive innovation and its agile near-shore manufacturing presence serving OEMs worldwide.
