Spoločnosť XCMG predstavuje prvý 14 000-tonový kruhový žeriav na svete, ktorý nanovo definuje zdvíhanie ultraťažkých bremien

XCMG has announced the completion of the first main unit of the world's first 14,000-ton ring crane, marking a significant advancement in ultra-heavy lifting technology. This crane, developed in collaboration with Sinopec Heavy Lifting & Transportation Co., Ltd., is set to be the largest ring crane ever constructed and aims to establish a new standard for large-scale construction projects globally.

The crane features a modular configuration consisting of two main units that operate in unison. The first main unit is fully assembled and capable of performing lifting operations independently. Once both units are completed and integrated, the crane will have a maximum lifting capacity of 14,000 tons and a maximum lifting moment of 700,000 ton-meters, with several key performance parameters expected to reach industry-leading levels.

"This crane is more than just an incremental improvement. It represents a transformational leap for the global heavy lifting industry," stated Yang Dongsheng, chairman of XCMG Group and XCMG Machinery. "Our partnership with Sinopec has created a new integrated model encompassing research and development, manufacturing, and practical application, setting the standard in the industry for independent innovations and engineering applications of significant technical equipment."

The ring crane also features a groundbreaking direct-drive electric system that converts electrical energy directly into motion, achieving over 30% energy savings, a 20% increase in operational efficiency, and reducing fuel costs and carbon emissions. As nuclear power projects worldwide continue to grow larger and more modular, the demand for ultra-heavy lifting equipment is increasing. The 14,000-ton ring crane represents a significant step in the growing role of China's advanced lifting equipment in the construction of nuclear power plants globally.

Yang added, "XCMG will continue to pursue independent development of ultra-large machinery and equipment, providing proven and reliable solutions for a wider range of engineering applications and offering customers globally safer, more efficient, and energy-saving construction solutions."
