Fleet Dynamics Launches Autonomous Technology Platform Targeting $200 Billion in Essential-Services Markets
Fleet Dynamics has officially launched and formed a strategic commercialization alliance with YNR, which connects its autonomous technology development to an established national customer-acquisition platform serving essential-services industries. The partnership is aimed at tapping into a market that is projected to exceed $200 billion.
The company is focused on developing modular autonomous aerial systems for pest control, lawn care, and grounds management. The alliance with YNR will provide Fleet Dynamics access to operating relationships, demand intelligence, and a nationwide commercialization infrastructure. YNR operates a network of more than 1,000 sales professionals, generating tens of thousands of customer leads each year and is expected to reach over $70 million in revenue for 2026.
Michael Lanctot, founder and engineer of both companies, emphasized that Fleet's approach is centered around understanding customer needs. "Fleet is not starting with a drone and searching for a problem," he stated. "It is starting with customers, experienced operators, and nearly a decade of insight into how these industries grow." The alliance is designed to streamline the path from operational needs to commercial deployment.
Fleet Dynamics' platform features a versatile airframe, with interchangeable tools designed for various applications. Its initial offerings include a pest-treatment fogger, granulator, precision liquid sprayer, and an autonomous paint-striping system. Each tool includes its own power supply and is engineered to improve efficiency while minimizing environmental impact.
The company plans to focus initially on the pest control and lawn care sectors, where YNR has established customer relationships. The U.S. structural pest-control industry reportedly generated around $13.416 billion in service revenue in 2025. Alongside landscaping services generating approximately $188.8 billion, the combined market represents a significant opportunity for Fleet Dynamics.
Lanctot is funding Fleet through revenue generated from YNR, allowing for the development of the technology without external investment. He maintains degrees in chemical and nuclear engineering from the University of New Mexico. "YNR proved that we could create demand at scale," he noted, adding that Fleet will focus on building technology that meets identified commercial needs.
