Cato Networks Launches SMB FlexPool to Help MSPs Scale Managed SASE for Small and Midsize Businesses
Cato Networks has introduced a new program designed to assist managed service providers (MSPs) in delivering managed Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) services to small and midsize businesses (SMBs) at scale. The Cato SMB FlexPool program aims for high-velocity, scalable go-to-market execution and aims to simplify the customer onboarding experience by eliminating the need for separate licensing transactions for every customer deployment.
Art Nichols, chief technology officer at Uniti Solutions, emphasized the program's commitment to customer-centric network services. He stated that SMB FlexPool offers a streamlined, scalable, and efficient approach for delivering managed SASE services, allowing for quicker provisioning and a smoother onboarding experience for customers as their businesses grow.
Available to both new and existing MSPs and service providers within Cato’s ecosystem, the SMB FlexPool provides partners with a dedicated pool of Cato licenses, allowing for capacity allocation to SMB customers as demand increases. Through a self-service workflow, partners can instantly provision customer accounts, manage capacity, and activate Cato services without losing control of customer relationships or service offerings.
Karl Soderlund, global channel chief at Cato Networks, stated that the SMB FlexPool aims to reduce delays in customer deployments caused by licensing and operational complexities. The program enables MSPs to maintain control over the customer experience while benefiting from instant provisioning and flexible pooled licensing.
The program is tailored to the operational needs of telcos and MSPs serving SMBs, featuring capabilities such as instant self-service provisioning, pooled capacity economics, and efficient customer onboarding processes. Cato's managed SASE (MSASE) Partner Platform supports the program, offering partners tools and automation to expedite their go-to-market strategies while managing both SMB and enterprise customers more effectively from a centralized platform.
