SwitchBot Launches Lock Ultra Max Vision Pro Combo, Bringing Faster, Smarter, Multi-Way Entry at IFA 2026
SwitchBot has announced the launch of the SwitchBot Lock Ultra Max Vision Pro Combo, aimed at European households seeking an advanced retrofit smart-entry solution. The product combines the new SwitchBot Lock Ultra Max, SwitchBot Keypad Vision Pro, and SwitchBot Hub Mini Matter Enabled, allowing users to upgrade their existing door locks without replacing the lock cylinder.
The Lock Ultra Max features faster locking performance, up to 19 different unlocking methods, and a triple power system to ensure reliable access even in low-battery situations. It operates with an UltraDrive brushless motor that achieves 160 rpm, offering quick unlocking capabilities in as little as 1.1 seconds. Users can choose between Max Mode for immediate unlocking and Quiet Mode for discreet operation. The lock is designed with high-quality materials, including an aluminum-alloy body and brushed stainless steel, providing a refined look.
The SwitchBot Keypad Vision Pro enhances the system's versatility, enabling multi-user access through various methods such as 3D facial recognition, palm vein detection, fingerprint scanning, and NFC card access. The device is equipped to recognize users in low-light conditions and can adapt to users with different fingerprint reading capabilities. The entire ensemble allows for diversified entry methods, catering to various family members and their individual preferences.
The Lock Ultra Max employs a three-layer power system, including a rechargeable main battery and a backup battery to ensure operational functionality during power outages. The system is also programmed to communicate battery statuses and alert users of low-battery conditions through the SwitchBot App. Additionally, the lock's security features encompass AES-128 encryption and local biometric data storage, reinforcing users' privacy and security.
Set to be showcased at IFA 2026, the SwitchBot Lock Ultra Max Vision Pro Combo will be available for pre-order starting September 3, 2026, with a suggested retail price of EUR 339.99 / GBP 339.99. Customers who purchase during the launch period will receive a complimentary one-year extended warranty called Max Service, aimed at facilitating ownership with extra support and reassurance.
