Silent Push 6.1 Platform Detects Attacker Infrastructure Earlier for Preemptive Action
Silent Push has announced enhancements to its preemptive cyber defense platform with the release of Silent Push 6.1. The new version includes a complete rebuild of its Brand and Infrastructure Impersonation capabilities, which are now fully automated to continuously detect imposters and provide customers with timely updates. The latest updates also improve integrations and increase global support for users.
The launch of Silent Push Platform 6.1 introduces a next-generation brand and infrastructure impersonation engine featuring a My Assets feature. According to the company, brand and infrastructure impersonation has evolved into a critical intelligence requirement for security operations teams, as highlighted in a research note by Gartner® titled "Align Cyberthreat Intelligence to Business Priorities for Stronger SecOps."
Vladimir Krupnov, Threat Intelligence Lead at Revolut, emphasized the importance of timely intelligence, stating, "Signal is essential for weeding out noise against today's attack environment and time is the biggest disadvantage defenders have." He noted that Silent Push provides early detection that can inform essential security workflows.
Ken Bagnall, Co-Founder and CEO of Silent Push, added that the new impersonation engine is designed to identify threats before they manifest, stating, "Disrupting impersonation before it scales means finding it before it is used." Silent Push 6.1 aims to streamline the investigative process for analysts by integrating with existing tools and platforms.
Among the notable features of Silent Push 6.1 are advanced pivot controls for streamlined investigations, a comprehensive asset management feature for tracking infrastructure, and enhanced integrations with tools like Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR and a new Chrome extension. The platform's interface is now available in Korean and Spanish, with additional language support planned for the future.
