one world has been named 'World's Best Airline Alliance' at the 2026 Skytrax World Airline Awards. The award ceremony took place in London on 18 September 2026, marking one world's fifth recognition in these annual awards, often referred to as the 'Oscars of the aviation industry.'

Luis Gallego, CEO of International Airlines Group (IAG) and Chairman of the one world Governing Board, expressed his honor in receiving the award. "This prestigious award reflects how one world's continued commitment to creating a more connected and rewarding journey is valued by global travellers," he stated while collecting the award.

The winners of the Skytrax awards are determined through a comprehensive customer satisfaction survey, in which millions of passengers rate their travel experiences with airlines and airports worldwide.
