StarKist and Dongwon Honor Korean War Veterans at The Chosin Few Gala

StarKist and its parent company, Dongwon, recognized eight Korean War veterans during the Chosin Few Gala held on October 3 at the Holiday Inn Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas. This event is part of The Chosin Few's annual reunion.

The gathering pays tribute to The Chosin Few, a group of Korean War veterans who participated in the historic Battle of the Chosin Reservoir more than seventy years ago. This event aims to honor the courage and sacrifice of those who defended South Korea and to preserve their stories for future generations.

During the gala, members of The Chosin Few were joined by Edward Min, President and CEO of StarKist, along with the StarKist leadership team. Veterans were greeted warmly upon their arrival at the event.

The evening included a photo opportunity with Charlie the Tuna, a mascot representing the StarKist brand, as members of The Chosin Few posed with the leadership team during the event.
