Local Restaurant Veterans Host Grand Opening for Their Second Pet Supplies Plus Location in Rowlett May 16 and May 17

Pet Supplies Plus has opened a new store in Rowlett, Texas, located at 8809 Lakeview Parkway. The largest pet retail franchise offers a wide selection of products for various pets, including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish, and small animals. The store also provides grooming services, self-wash stations, and carry-out assistance.

The Rowlett store is owned by entrepreneurs Todd McEvoy and Alan Mann, who have extensive experience in the restaurant industry. After more than 30 years in the field, Mann recently sold his restaurant portfolio and teamed up with McEvoy to focus on community engagement. The Rowlett location is their second store in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, following the opening of their first store in Euless in March.

"We've built our careers around taking care of people, and this is really an extension of that, but for pets," said Mann. "Pet Supplies Plus gives us the opportunity to be part of the community on a more personal level, and Rowlett felt like the right place to continue growing."

As part of their community initiatives, McEvoy and Mann plan to collaborate with local animal shelters, rescue organizations, and non-profits to host adoption events, fundraisers, and product drives throughout the year.

To celebrate the grand opening of their new location, McEvoy and Mann will host a weekend-long event from May 16 to May 17. Customers can enjoy special promotions including a $10 reward for purchases over $30, discounts on tropical fish, and the chance to win various prizes.

Pet Supplies Plus Rowlett will be open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The store offers curbside pickup and same-day delivery for online orders, and customers are encouraged to bring their pets into the store where staff can provide assistance and recommendations.
