US SIF Announces George H. Walker, Chairman and CEO of Neuberger, as Keynote Speaker for US SIF FORUM 2026
The US Sustainable Investment Forum (US SIF) has announced that George H. Walker, Chairman and CEO of Neuberger, will serve as a keynote speaker at the US SIF FORUM 2026. This annual conference, which is the premier gathering for sustainable investment professionals in the U.S., is scheduled to take place in Washington, DC from June 24-26.
Walker brings significant expertise from his years of managing capital at Neuberger, a fully employee-owned investment management firm overseeing $567 billion in assets. Neuberger, known for its commitment to long-term stewardship, has been a supporter of sustainable investing through its Neuberger Quality Equity franchise, which has been affiliated with US SIF since 1989.
This year's conference theme, "Investing Above the Noise," reflects the sustainable investing community's resilience amid unprecedented market disruptions and its continued focus on long-term returns and impact. Maria Lettini, CEO of US SIF, emphasized the importance of coming together to share insights and strategies that support this commitment.
The 14th annual FORUM expects to gather institutional and retail asset managers, asset owners, wealth advisors, and other leaders from the capital markets ecosystem to discuss and promote sustainable investing practices. The event will feature panel discussions, workshops, and offsite tours aimed at fostering networking and education about emerging trends and policy developments.
Attendees can expect discussions on key topics such as safeguarding shareholder rights, corporate sustainability amid regulatory changes, the implications of AI in investing, and exploring opportunities in emerging markets. Additionally, on June 24, US SIF will host its Member Day on Capitol Hill, allowing members to engage with Congress on issues related to sustainable investing.
