Primis Financial Corp. Announces Election of New Board Members Scott Gamble and Brock Saunders

Primis Financial Corp. and its wholly-owned subsidiary Primis Bank have announced the election of Mr. Scott R. Gamble and Mr. J. Brock Saunders to the Company's Board of Directors during its annual meeting of shareholders.

Mr. Scott R. Gamble serves as a Principal at Patriot Financial Partners, L.P., bringing over 38 years of banking experience. Previously, he was the Regional President for BB&T's Greater Delaware Valley Region, overseeing both commercial and retail management teams, as well as commercial real estate and regional corporate lending teams. Mr. Gamble is also on the boards of First Bank and Fortis Financial Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Grove City College, along with additional training in management and capital markets.

Mr. J. Brock Saunders is the Managing Partner at Mattock Capital, a Richmond-based family office involved in diverse alternative investments. He has held the position of President and Chief Investment Officer at James River Capital Corp. and has experience as a Partner at Pleasant Lake Partners, a New York-based hedge fund. His career began at Citigroup as a high-yield credit trader, later becoming Global Head of Equity Trading in London. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in government and history from the University of Virginia.

Dennis J. Zember, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer of Primis, expressed his enthusiasm for the new board members, stating that both Mr. Gamble and Mr. Saunders are valued contributors well-known to the Company. He highlighted their experience and counsel as beneficial to Primis' corporate and bank boards.

Mr. Robert Clagett and Mr. Charles Kabbash did not seek reelection at the annual meeting, allowing Mr. Gamble and Mr. Saunders to fill their positions on the Company Board. Primis expresses gratitude to Mr. Clagett and Mr. Kabbash for their dedicated service and contributions during their tenure.

As of March 31, 2026, Primis Financial Corp. had total assets of $4.3 billion, total loans held for investment of $3.4 billion, and total deposits of $3.4 billion.
