Lummus Technology Launches New C5 Solution to Unlock Higher-Value Production
Lummus Technology has announced the commercial launch of Thermacrack™ C5, a next-generation technology designed to help producers enhance their operations and meet the increasing demand for high-value chemical applications.
This new offering follows the success of the Thermacrack™ C4 process, which has been commercially demonstrated for the backcracking of MTBE and ETBE to produce high-purity isobutylene. The Thermacrack™ C5 platform builds on this foundation by targeting C5 streams and utilizing established capabilities to produce isoamylene, a key feedstock for numerous applications.
